  • 01 Do you accept Step Up For Students scholarships? expand_more

Yes. Call admissions to confirm your student’s award works at Lewis Prep. Your award is applied to tuition first, and you pay only the difference.

  • 02 When do I need to apply to start in January? expand_more

Apply by November 20. That is our application cutoff so scholarship families can be cleared in time for Step Up’s December 1 deadline, which starts funding in January.

  • 03 What does the 4-day week look like? expand_more

Class runs Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 1 pm, year-round. Friday is our Flex day, 8 am to 12 pm. Contact our admissions team to learn how families use it.

  • 04 How is AI part of the day? expand_more

Every student learns AI, from patterns and logic in the early grades through prompting, coding and building in the upper grades. It runs through the core subjects rather than sitting beside them.

  • 05 Can students enroll only in afternoon Sports Lab? expand_more

Yes. Academy athletes are not enrolled Lewis Prep students and submit a separate sports application. Sports Lab: Academy is $5,000 a year, or $1,250 a quarter or $500 a month over ten months. A non-refundable $200 sports application fee applies to Sports Lab: Student and Sports Lab: Academy. A physical and EKG are required before the first session.

  • 06 When can students enroll during the school year? expand_more

Enrollment is rolling all year. Students start on the 1st of the month.

  • 07 How does the $500 enrollment deposit work? expand_more

The $500 enrollment deposit is paid at application and is credited to your first tuition payment. That first payment is due the day your student is cleared to start: $460 for Grades K‑3, $480 for Grades 4‑8 and $540 for Grades 9‑12, for a start on the 1st of the month.

  • 08 Can we use Step Up For Students scholarships for admissions fees? expand_more

No. The $750 due at application is paid by every family. Your scholarship award is applied to tuition, and you pay only the difference.

  • 09 What is the admissions process, and is testing required? expand_more

Apply online, then your student completes a placement assessment so we can place them well. You will see the decision in your parent portal and have 72 hours to accept.

  • 10 What does it cost to apply? expand_more

$750 is due at application: a $200 registration fee, a $50 placement assessment fee, and a $500 enrollment deposit that is credited to your first tuition payment.

  • 11 When is my first payment due, and how much? expand_more

It is due the day your student is cleared to start, less your $500 deposit: $460 for Grades K‑3, $480 for Grades 4‑8 and $540 for Grades 9‑12, for a start on the 1st of the month.
